F.A.Q
Below are some of the frequently asked questions we get asked. If you don't find the answer you are looking for here, please contact us.
Do you travel further than the Midlands?
Yes. We do, but travel & accomadation expenses may become applicable.
What equipment do you shoot on?
We use High definition capable Cameras, presently we use a 2 camera crew as standard. The main camera is a SONY prosumer (Broadcast Quality) camera. The second is a hiDef capable handheld free roaming camera.
Can we have more than One camera to film our event?
Yes, we offer a 2 camera team as standard. However if you require additional cameras, these can be supplied at an additional cost.
What is my end product?
Each project is different, everyone has their own idea about how they want to use the footage. You can have either a FILE for use in various applications or a complete DVD or Blu-Ray for promotional reasons...Or both.
Who owns the Copyright?
DIGIGIG will own all the copyrights for moving pictures and additional sourced footage, effects or incidental audio. The artist obviously retains copyright for their OWN material. Cover versions will have to be covered by purchasing a license in order to reproduce the original artists material. we can discuss this with you at a consultation.
How many copies of the DVD can I have? I want to sell them at future Gigs.
We can provide however many copies of the DVD or Blu-Ray you require. However if you require more than 5, we will need to acquire a Limited Distribution license and most likely outsource to a production house to produce multiple copies. Cost per Unit will be discussed at time of consultation.
Can we have a Story to our Music Video?
Yes, we can Script, Produce & Direct a full concept music video for you. We are able to offer advice of both pre & Post production.
Do you offer High definition?
Yes we do. This is an additional option and does carry a surcharge. It takes rather more work to edit High definition footage but the end result does speak for itself. The result is greatly improved when compared to standard definition. High quality images with rich and vibrant colours & tones.
How much does it cost?
There is no one set price, it all depends on what you want. The rule of thumb is "Time x Labour". The longer you want us, the more it will cost, the more work involved in creating your film will again make it more expensive. However you could shoot a Budget Live or mock live track for as little as £100.
